We worked with the UK office of sustainability to design and build a table for their annual sustainability showcase. This project was aimed to help them launch their “Campus Woods” program. Every tree on the University of Kentucky’s campus is cataloged and tracked so whenever they need to cut it down for any reason they know exactly how old it is, where it was, and what species of tree it is. When a tree is cut down it is brought to the universities in-house mill and processed to be used for projects or research being conducted on campus as part of their sustainability initiative.
