Various designs created for my engagement party, including hand-lettered invitations, feature chalkboard and signage.
All 100% made by hand.
I designed the branding of local boutique pop-up store MAYFLY.
MAYFLY collaborates with local niche designers, providing a space and platform for them to exhibit their products. MAYFLY’s brand aesthetic is minimal, allowing the designers’ content to stand out. The brand symbol is formed using geometric shapes to create a mayfly. The way the shapes have been contructed together represent unity of local designers.
Everyone wants to be seen, everyone wants to be heard. MAYFLY helps this happen. The tagline was developed with the intention of being short, clear, memorable, and appealing to potential collaborators (designers, musicians etc). In another way, it also appeals to potential customers; they will be seen and be heard with items purchased from MAYFLY events.
Wedding invitations, decorations, and signage created for my wedding. The chalkboards, wooden boards and easels were custom made by hand.
All 100% made by hand.
This was a branding project for Bora Bora Enjoy, a rental agency of villas and bungalows based in Bora Bora, French Polynesia.
The following branding proposal reflects luxury, peace and serenity. It is warm, friendly and inviting, perfect to represent the villa and bungalows offered by Bora Bora Enjoy. The soft blue of the lagoon represents tranquility. The bright orange of a sunset brings a sense of joy. Its aesthetic is peaceful and calm, telling guests to relax and enjoy their holiday. The iconic Bora Bora mountain is included to give a sense of locality. Tropical leaves have been used as an element to unite the brand across all forms of stationery like letterhead, business cards and welcome cards. It also can be applied as stickers and an embroidered logo to put onto shampoos, pillow cases, complimentary gifts, or other items.
A personal project of a chalk lettering piece created in Tahiti, my current home. Video was filmed by Sylus Media and edited by me.
A minimalistic signature logo with an essence of liberty. It starts and ends with strokes that resemble the gracefulness of gentle waves. Crafted with a style of modern calligraphy, it is a mark that reflects a professional company with premium quality.
The mark is custom hand-lettered meaning it is unique and one-of-a-kind. The subtle raw strokes of the pen are kept to preserve this aesthetic.
The Woolshed Leadership Academy (WLA) is an initiative that develops bold leaders who think differently, held in the Illawarra's iconic Woolshed.
The brief was to create a brand that would be reflective of a premium academy, like that of an american football academy. It also needed to tie in with the mood and feel of the Woolshed, a rejuvenated woolshed serving as a creative community space.
I designed a monogram-style logo, high class in it's look to represent the organisation's mission to develop bold leaders. It has a rustic, grainy finish to fit in with the Woolshed.
An ongoing personal project where I letter on things, focussing on nature. This includes, but are not limited to, leaves, rocks, vegetables, and fruit.

Branding for a Sydney-based adventure blog.
We are Explorers is an inspiration blog for weekend micro-adventures around Sydney, NSW with close to 20,000 followers on facebook and instagram. It's all about encouraging everyday adventurers like you and I to get out there and explore what's on our doorsteps.
The brief was to create a new face for the company that would be relevant to the contemporary times. It was to be simple, recognisable, and have a logo icon that could be used on it's own.
I designed a minimalistic logo icon formed by a tent and a mountain. It serves to reflect the outdoor adventure theme, further using bold but friendly typography to appeal to the every day Joe. It's a brand that shows you don't need to be the fittest and toughest to go on an adventure.
Rebrand for a Tasmanian tour company called Great Expeditions.
The brief was to create a premium brand that would reflect premium tours. It needed to be of high quality and encapsulate the essence of Tasmania. A redesign of the website was also created to accompany the new brand.
Various work I did for an American-style restaurant/cafe/bar in Wollongong, Australia, including menus, posters, and wall signage.
Chalkboards I lettered for a cafe Gloria Jeans Thirroul, Australia.
